Introduction
Glyphdoctors' first tour, the Living Luxor Tour, went off very successfully in January 2008. We asked participants what they would say if they were to recommend this trip to their friends. Here's what some of them had to say:
- "I would say that this was a trip of a lifetime. The wealth of knowledge
and experience gained cannot really be quantified. I was in awe the
whole trip. It was well worth the price and effort. It was tastefully
done and very organized. I did not have to worry about a single thing
on the trip, which was a huge relief. I was very pleased with the
overall package!"
- "Unbeatable, I would say, for the price and, because Nicole treated us
like family members, it was more like a bunch of friends exploring
Luxor together than a formal organized tour. Also there was a chance to
visit places off the beaten track."
- "I would tell them that small is beautiful. That travelling with
like-minded people is a blessing. That travelling with people from
other countries is interesting and fun. That seeing little known sites
with few or no tourists is fun and extremely interesting. that meeting
the people from Chicago House actually working was a privilege. that
travelling with a professional Egyptologist is a benefit which cannot
be overestimated, that I got to meet some real Egyptians doing real
Egyptian things and that was priceless."
