Dear Members, 

        actually  some rumours  are going around, whispering of a discovery, made still in

        November 2007, but  kept secret till today by the (SCA?)-officials. 

        According to these rumours, a  step-by-step stairway was discovered very near

        to  Merenptha's tomb (KV8), may be nearbye the KV8-entrance aerea. this location,

        and the Amarna-style stairway, is of special interest, cause directly on the other

       side You will find the enigmatic KV55 "Amarna"-tomb ! ( Akhenaten/Tiye/Smenkhare/.?.) 

       that's why somebody here suggest that the new tomb could rely to tke Amarna period,

       thus belonging to High Royals like Akhenaten, Nefertiti, Kiya,.., and so on !?

Ok, so far the Rumours !  Did anybody "hear" or notice  something more in this context ???
